David Noakes – Waiting – Lose It Records

Releasing 6 September 2019 on Lose It Records

Brighton DJ / Producer David Noakes is proud to release his new single “Waiting” on Lose it records later this year.

His productions already feature worldwide in compilations such as Pacha, Cream, Creamfields and across radio stations such as Kiss, Capital, Gaydio in the UK and many more around the world. David has been previously supported by Don Diablo, Martin Garrix, Mike Mago, Pep n Rash to name but a few. At the time of writing this he has just played alongside names such as Kideko and Kue De Ta before flying out to Belgium to play Love united Festival to thousands the weekend after. His bootlegs made for his own sets and given away for free have had millions of streams. This caught the attention of YouTube itself who used his King remix in it’s official streaming ad. As a DJ, David’s sets aren’t just one track into another. You can expect to hear scratching, tunes mixed backwards, effects used to create build ups of his own and much more over his House sets playing only the very biggest tunes to get crowds into a frenzy! David also works well with live musicians and percussionists due to his own understanding as a musician himself.

Earlier this year saw David fly out to Tignes and played ESP for a week of gigs Apres ski in the mountains finishing up playing before Fragma this year, Black Box the previous year. He even managed to get some Skiing in of his own in between gigs!

The Magician opened up his Miami Winter music conference set with David’s “Red Sky” tune under his alias and nickname – Noaksey. Many of his tunes have found there way into TV shows and Hollywood movies. Celebrity big brother for example used his productions in the last series. A track he co wrote for J-pop girl band Happiness hit no.5 in the Japanese official Oricon chart and the album went to no.1 the first day. His latest production music album was released via BMG/APM.

A musician, taught Guitar by his Father as a young boy, David’s ear for music has earn’t him collaborations and remixes with many of the worlds leading names in music. He started out winning competitions in music and playing in bands before finding his love of music tech as a teenager and mastering his craft which led to his first record deal aged just 17. Many more followed. David is the real deal, composer, producer, musician, engineer and created hits for other artists.

A love for house music with melodic hooks and musicality has brought David to this current path. “Waiting” was premiered recently at his Pride festival gig in Brighton to an appreciative audience of several thousand at his home city. Introduced by percussionist David H to a roaring home crowd; his tune was blasted up and down the A259 coast road in Brighton at the huge street party in his set right before Kideko’s (see video below!). The following weekend he span it to a few thousand more at Love United Festival in Antwerp, Belgium as well as his home residencies in Brighton every weekend.

“Waiting” will be released on David’s own label Lose it Records which will be its 12th release. Lose it is a small but credible label with previous signings including Guru Josh and Loverush UK. This is the first of a series of new releases as David ramps up his own material after a long period of productions behind the scenes.
